Daryl Hall and John Oates

General History: Daryl Hall and John Oates met when they hid in the same elevator after a gun fight broke out. The two were playing in separate bands (John with the Masters, Daryl with the Temptones) at the time. Hall and Oates put out their first album Whole Oats in 1972, and was mainly popular in the 70s with songs like She’s Gone, Rich Girl, Wait for Me, and Sara Smile. The two also had icons in the 80s such as Maneater, Private Eyes, Out of Touch, and I Can’t Go for That (No Can Do).

Opinion: 10/10 Every album has something different, but also still has a classic sound. Hall and Oates has to be one of the best music duos out there, due to the creativity and craftsmanship they put in each and every song (plus they still get along).
